Labor Day Weekend

Above, our adventures in outlet shopping.
We fell in love with these silver knee high sneakers,
none in Savannah's size.

This is the beach, famous site of 'beach crawl'
our hotel is in the background,
Walt Disney World Dolphin.

The Character Spot at EPCOT, always a favorite!
Can you believe she was first here just 3 years ago?

We ate breakfast with the Disney characters at Tusker House
inside Disney's Animal Kingdom.
The food was really tasty, but, Savannah liked seeing her
'buddies' best.

Savannah loved the pool. She had a life jacket that kept her afloat
and she loved jumping and swimming on her own.
She also had her first snow cone.

Gardaland is the largest theme park in Italy. An incredibly clean park. We lost Daddy's wallet halfway through our day, the cash is gone, but the theme park called today to say it was found!

Savannah got to see the island of Rhodes today which is part of Greece. She rode a donkey to the acropolis at Lindos and then went to the beach and went parasailing and jetskiing.

We visited the city of Antalya in Turkey where we had a great time with our new friend, Ozan. We saw the beautiful city, ate a wonderful meal and saw a breath taking waterfall. We want to go back to Turkey very soon.

We toured the country of Cyprus today with a very nice locals man who showed us the sites. We saw Apollos temple and the rock where Aphrodite came out of the water. It was nice, but very hot!!

Egypt and the Pyramids

Savannah got to visit the country of Egypt today and saw the great pyramids. She was so excited to see on the seven wonders of the ancient world. We got to see mommy and daddy's friend, Seham, who took us onto tour. Now Savannah has been to the continents of Europe and Africa.

We are so excited to see Seham again!!

We spent 8 days in a tiny northern Tuscan hill town. The road to the top was narrow and very windy. On the last night they held a rally on the mountain roads. It was very loud.

We visited a small hill tone called Barga which has a huge Scottish population. We took part in their annual fish and chips festival which was very yummy. Mommy was very excited to find out that this was the location of the Miss Italy pageant.

Nails

Savannah and Daddy are preparing to leave for the summer. They will spend almost two weeks WITHOUT MOMMY in NH. She joins them in NJ after her very important after Lasik appointment.

Blog posts may be sporadic in the coming month, we are off to our summer vacation. We board the MSC Melody on July 26th and return to the USA on August 8th. So, any stories you hear about Somali Pirates or major landforms moving - now you know where we are.

Today, Savannah officially stopped taking Alcyclovir. It has prevented another optic herpes outbreak. She has been one year outbreak free and she is free to stop taking her "yeah" twice a day. Thanks Dr. Sokol at Nemours!

Lisa has been taking care of Savannah for TWO years now. She has been compassionate and easy going. Even through some address challenges, we pulled together and made it work. I have no doubt that she cares for Savannah. Most likely, Savannah will join preschool in the fall and prepare for her move to school, Lisa will be missed.
