First Days

A couple of the blog world's most influential mommy's are having a virtual shower for two funny blogging women. They are offering up a pretty sweet gift basket and I thought these first days memories were worth sharing:
• Our brand new little one looking around at her new world, mesmerized.
• My father-in-law with his shoulders in his ears, so nervous as he held her.
• When we finally heard her cry, it's "knee, knee" pterodactyl-like sound.
• My husband, holding her like a football cheering on the Patriots and knowing he was wrapped around her finger.
• Smelling her hair and wondering if that's what heaven smells like.
• Seeing her first poop and being ecstatic that she worked!
