Seventh Heaven - for Mommy

Jeremy and I celebrated our seven year anniversary on the 24th. Today at school I was surprised with a delivery of TWO dozen red roses. A year where tradition dictates copper/wool. He's a keeper. It got me thinking about seven years. We all know you can spend them in Tibet with Brad Pitt or get an itch with Marilyn Monroe - but, what is it like in the real world? Well, some are headed towards divorce, some are happier than ever, some are on their umpteenth pregnancy, but, for us it's different. We've earned Bachelor's and Master's degrees (go Jer!) become stars on the Internet (ditto) and had 21 months with our long awaited Savannah. We've tried living in New England (you guys can keep the cold) and moved four times already. We've seen jobs lost (for stealing time, he he) and jobs gained, we've fought, we've cried, we have each thrown the 'D' word gauntlet. Yet, here we are, seven years. Committed to each other and this family we have created. So, Happy Anniversary to us! Here's to making it to #30, I have my eye on some pearls! :)

Ah, that's sweet! Congrats on 7 years. Matt and I are on 9 years now. I figure if we have made it this long, 50 is nothing. Maybe we can both be the couples that make it that long. :)
